reputation: From The Vault
Taylor Swift announced in May 2025 that she had purchased the master recordings of her first six albums, finally reclaiming her life’s work in all its original glory after six years of her “Taylor’s Version” project. With this announcement came the news that she was not going to re-record her album reputation, but that she would release the unreleased “vault tracks” if it was in the fans’ interest.
I decided to conceptualize what a brand new, reimagined cover for reputation would look like, with the added context of unreleased songs and her current relationship with her reputation. And so, “reputation: From The Vault” was born. Are you ready for it?

The gold snake is a reference to Swift’s “The Eras Tour” outfit during the reputation set. She stands with it wrapped around her, embracing the villainous label she was given that inspired the album.

The wall features a faded newsprint, a reference to the original reputation album cover in which half of her face is covered, but here she stands against it, an act of rejecting the media’s perception of her.

The type is the original reputation album logo and accompanying subtext with a text effect reminiscent of its styling on the reputation Stadium Tour poster.
